Round up of Forbes blogs

I am absolutely terrible at promoting my writing. I’m going to try to remedy that by posting links to my Forbes blogs regularly here.

I didn’t write very much last month (I was extremely busy with academic stuff and drafting the first chapter of my book), but usually I aim for about 5 pieces a month, covering topics in genetics and anthropology.

Here’s my latest, on the origins of milk pastoralism in Northern Mongolia:

And here’s a page with links to all my past pieces.

Would you rather I post them here as they come out, or do a monthly round-up of links? I don’t want to clog up your inboxes, and I do post them as they come out on my Twitter. Let me know what you prefer in the comments. And as always, thanks for reading!

Tyler Cowen posts them as they come out (his Bloomberg posts, he cross posts to his blog). He includes one paragraph excerpt and a link. I think this is very quick for him to do. So not much of a burden.

What’s good about this is as a reader I am getting things fresh when they come out, and if the paragraph excerpt doesn’t catch my fancy I don’t click through. And as reader this level of promotion is not spam. I come here to read your writing, so promoting is a service. And I can Frenchtown miss things on Twitter.

    Keep up the good work!

    Anyway. Just my two cents.

I prefer ‘as they happen’ updates. I’ve been following you via email but added your site to my Feedly news reader. I’m covered!

    As they come is good.

Thanks everyone. I’ll go ahead and blog them here as I post them. Let me know if that ever gets annoying!
